On behalf of all of the members of the Yorba Linda church of Christ we would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope that you are encouraged and uplifted by what you see. The love of our God and our Savior Jesus Christ is a powerful thing, and we are so glad that you have chosen to learn more about it today.
We would like to take a moment to introduce our congregation to you. We are a group of Christians with very simple goals: to follow the word of God to the best of our ability, to pattern ourselves after the church that we read about in the New Testament, and to show Jesus Christ to the world through the way that we live, love, and worship.
We want you to know that we are here to serve. If there is anything that we as a church might be able to do to help you in your search for truth, or in your struggle through this life, please let us know. It would be our great pleasure to help you meet your needs, whether they be physical or spiritual.
Please take a moment to browse through this site. You will find information regarding our regular activities, including worship services, Bible studies, youth gatherings, and many other opportunities for fellowship and involvement with the family here. We hope that you will join us for services and that you might give us the opportunity to meet you in person and get to know you better.
We pray that regardless of what path your life has taken thus far, it might be directed by the truth of God’s word from this point forward. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
In the love and service of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Meet Our Elders
The job of an elder is to oversee the church and help lead it in the direction it should go. These men are appointed and guided by the principles found in the Bible in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Our elders are men of faith who love the Lord and His church. They are available to study with you, pray with you, and to help answer any questions that you may have. Please email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
"So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory." (1 Peter 5:1-4)
Meet Our Deacons
Our deacons have been selected by the church to serve the needs of our congregation here in both a physical and a spiritual capacity. In fact, the word "deacon" actually means "servant", and the deacons here love to do just that: serve. Again, these men have been appointed based upon the principles laid out in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. If they can be of any service to you, please contact us to let us know.
"For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 3:13)
Meet Our Evangelist
Jason Haygood has served as the evangelist for the congregation here since 2011. He and his wife, Robyn, are both originally from Wisconsin, but they have fallen in love with the people (and the weather!) here in Southern California. Jason has worked to spread the gospel message all over the U.S., as well as in Mexico, Africa, and South America. He would love to have the opportunity to talk with you about anything that pertains to our God. He can be reached at email@example.com.
"I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." (2 Timothy 4:1-5)
